Bruce Gelhay

Bruce joined Cordiant in November 2010, following a long career of increasing responsibilities spanning over 22 years in the Canadian Banking and Insurance industries.

Before leaving Scotia Bank in 1997, he managed the Asset/Liability accounts and played a key role in managing and overseeing a newly created mortgage holding Corporation.

At Sun Life of Canada, he managed and coordinated the budgets and expenses for several cost centers across Canada, created automated budgeting tools, produced specialized management reports, as well as issued the monthly Financial Report package for the budget directors and VP’s across Canada.

He brings to Cordiant a substantial expertise in the creation of financial reports and packages, including the development of innovative solutions that achieve measurable time-savings results.

Bruce holds a Certificate in Management and Accounting from McGill University, as well as a diploma from the Trust Companies Institute of Canada. Bruce is fluent in both English and French.
