Evan McCordick

Managing Director

Mr. McCordick joined Cordiant in 2010 as Managing Director in charge of investor relations and member of the Management Committee where he is involved in the screening of investments and the development and implementation of corporate strategy. He brings to Cordiant almost 20 years of debt and equity investment experience in the Emerging Markets.

Prior to joining Cordiant, Mr. McCordick was a Founding Partner and Managing Director of IBIS Capital Management, a captive financial advisory group to a large multi-sector private conglomerate with investments in insurance, banking, energy and real estate. From 1999 to 2005, he was a Partner of Baring Latin America Partners where he originated and managed private equity investments in Latin America and Africa, including in infrastructure, financial services, technology, and consumer products. Previously, Mr. McCordick spent seven years with the International Finance Corporation where he was a Senior Investment Officer in the Latin America and Caribbean and Infrastructure Departments.

Mr. McCordick holds a BA Hons. (Economics) from Queen’s University and an MBA from INSEAD. He speaks English, French and Spanish.
