Suzanne Gaboury

Ms. Gaboury joined Cordiant in 2006. Previously, Ms Gaboury spent 14 years with the EBRD. As a Senior Banker, she was responsible for overseeing the implementation of new private sector investment programmes, including business origination, advisory, credit and quality control, and new product/programme development for the enhancement of the business environment in CIS early transition countries, with a focus on domestic corporate entities. This included advising investors and government officials of investment and business plan structures and options, as well as providing policy reform advice. Prior to that she led or initiated debt and equity investments, primarily in the Caucasus and Central Asia, including acquisitions, greenfield and brownfield investments in industrial, natural resource (oil & gas and mining), manufacturing, and thermal and hydro power plant projects with both local and foreign investors.

Ms. Gaboury has spoken extensively at international conferences on project finance in the natural resource sectors, and was part of the Working Group at the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe on Industrial Restructuring & Enterprise Development.

Ms. Gaboury holds a BA (Economics) from the University of Alberta and an MBA from the National University of Ireland (Smurfit School of Business), University College Dublin. She has also completed the Canadian Securities Course.
